"More guilty pleas were vacated in the long-running prosecution of allegedly improper trading at the [NYSE]. ... In separate orders Monday, U.S. District Judge Sidney Stein in Manhattan vacated the 2006 guilty pleas of Patrick McGagh and Joseph Bongiorno, both formerly of Van Der Moolen, to securities fraud after prosecutors didn't opposed the men's motions to have their convictions overturned. ... A spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney's office in Manhattan, which brought the cases, declined to comment Monday", WSJ, 26 August 2008.
