AIG Madness

"Separately, AIG is making retention payments of about $450 million to employees at its AIG Financial Products unit, according to people familiar with the matter", Amir Efrati at the WSJ, 28 January 2009.

AIG's kidding. Not to employees of its insurance subs, but the finance unit. Kill this monster.

AIG has the madness of the suicide bomber. Try to stop them and they threaten to blow you and themselves up.

OK IA...

I put in a work order to have the GSC CNC guillotine delivered to Pine Street... or is it Fenchurch Street? Might need several units...

Parker Drilling (PKD) has drilling rigs it delivers by helicopter to hard to reach oil drill sites. I wonder if PKD could modify a CNC guillotine to make it similarly transportable? Of course, if it would be cheaper to build a few more, that's the way GSG should go.

Clever IA...

I'm on the phone with Parket Drilling now... they seem to think with oil prices down they can get me a helicopter easy...

What next? Now we have helicopter transportable CNC guillotines! With drilling contracts being cancelled all over Asia, PKD has plenty of helicopters available. Heck, it could even rent a few to Zimbabwe Ben.
