They really need to expand their bench... they keep trotting Blinder out... every time I see him on Bloomberg I wonder what riff on the party line he is going to play...
It's different now with the internet... "pronouncements" from Ivy League pontiffs are dissected... not just swallowed whole... Blinder better sharpen his puffery... or credibility goes to zero...
